Homework: Refined Phone Design. Refine the design of the cell phone based Address Book application. Your report should include: Description of usability test (brief). Target audience description. Facilitator’s instructions to the user (e.g., speak out loud, not testing YOU, testing the design, make fell. comfortable, can stop at any time), Task descriptions, Flow diagram for each showing how the different tasks are accomplished, Screen layout design (can be combined with flow diagram like the example I showed you in class) Summary of your testing answering the question “What did you change or learn as a result of usability testing?” Summary of any pre or post questionnaire you obtained in your testing (place the actual response sheets in an appendix at the end of the report). Word processor for writing the report. Graphics program to generate the screen designs and flow diagrams. Print document of your test report. Name of every member on your team. Number each page of the report. Place a soft copy on the class server. Hand in a hard copy of the report to your instructor. Due at our next class meeting, which is one week after in-class testing.
